Our new Attorney General Fergeson has rtevoked the concealed carry reciprocity with Florida. I read an article this morning but can't find it now. It has to with Florida allowing
under 21-yrs-old honorably discharged veterans to have license.

Why doesn't Washington have reciprocity Florida?

In 2012, Florida changed its laws to issue licenses to persons under 21 years of age if they are active duty or honorably discharged veterans. Therefore, Washington cannot by law enter into reciprocity with Florida.

Sucks, but that's what RCW 9.41.073 requires. You can try to change the law.

Thanks for passing this along. I was about to renew my FL CCW, but not anymore.

Actually, renewing FL makes sense if you want to carry there--they won't honor ours, or ANY third-party nonresident, so your options are either get theirs or don't pack.

I STILL wanna find a way to put together a Universal Recognition initiative and metaphorically ram it so far up their collective rear until it knocks out teeth... any lawyers out there that might be game for helping draft such a thing?
