Florida Concealed weapon or firearm license name change

I just went through a name change and for the past few weeks have been updating many documents. Just made a call to Florida and was told "you are not request to do a name change unless you want too". I thought this was an interesting ruling. I am still going to requires the name change but beings I will not be travelling to Florida anytime soon will wait until March (I mention this because some states require you to notify them in a timely manner, two to four weeks).

Any ways thought it might be of interest hence this post.
