No there's actually a gun store in Florence that sells JUST guns (Florence Gun Shop) . Big green sign at 101 and rhododendron dr.
Pretty nice change in town compared to all the wanna be gun dealers in town.

I have to admit to being very surprised, when I went there in June, to be told that he didn't have either .308Win or .223Rem dies and shell holders. He DID look in a bunch of stuff in an old box, just in case., however.

It's very nice-looking store, but I remain disappointed.

Luckily, I live almost 6000 miles to the East, so I don't need to rely on him.

He doesn't stock reloading equipment or supplies.

A very odd thing for a gun store to do, or rather, NOT do.

I wonder how many other prospective customers leave, shaking their heads in bafflement.

I asked him today when I went in, he said he couldn't compete with bi-mart on reloading stuff. (A few miles up the road)

A lot of people dont reload and those that do can get online so fast here except for powder. I agree no 308 or 223 is odd but not totally absurd.
