They shot 30 rounds with semi-autos including an AR-15 and only killed one person out of the 5 intruders? No way - we all know that semi-autos are much more deadly than that!

Is it possible the intruders might have overtaken the 3 in the house if they were unarmed or if the government had limited them to 10 round magazines? If they were overtaken, what would the final number of dead have been? Looks like the guns saved lives.

Fact is guns save MANY lives every day. If Americans were defenseless, every day and night people would be attacked and killed by criminals. Our crime rate is as low as it is because criminals know if they attack an armed person, they may be killed, and they know millions of Americans have guns. The lives are saved because of attacks that do not occur - no stats on that.

While we may not see this action by the armed occupants of the trailer as march-worthy, it does support a set of simple facts that bear repeating every time we raise our voices in support of our Second Amendment Rights.

1. The silent majority of law abiding gun owners and the guns they own are not the problem.

2. The bad guys are, and have always been, the problem.

3. Without the ability to defend ourselves, we will lose the fight against anarchy and lawlessness.

4. When anarchy reigns, those who opposed our right, and their right as well, to keep and bear arms will one day become victims and they will still blame the gun not the person wielding it.

We cannot educate the masses. We can only fight for our rights and hope that one day, such as what was reported regarding this invasion, our belief and use of those rights will demonstrate just how important those rights are.
