Well, we need to discourage our children from having or using their imaginations...That promotes free thought and individualism, and TPTB do not want that...They need each generation to become subsequently further molded into thoughtless robots, who just do what they're told.




I'm thinking homeschooling is the way to go for my two youngest.

So ar we have been lucky with our kids school, thankfully crap like this have not started here yet!!!! If they do we will work on setting up homeschooling here.We have in the past thought about it, now it is time to figure out how to make it work.

Interesting. The way schools and a good percentage of parents are acting these days, they are turning guns into forbidden items. I think that could have dangerous results. I was raised with guns, I knew what they were, I knew where they were, they were no big deal. Kids should understand that guns are inanimate objects that should be treated safely and with respect, but not something to be feared. If you ever want a kid to sneak around and abuse things, forbid it and ostracize it. Pretty sure my dad let me have a sip of beer when I was a kid. Never was a big deal, never abused alcohol until after I turned 21 (college was fun).

My EDC sits by my chair or on my nightstand when not on my belt. I don't keep a round chambered in the house, but my girls have never laid a finger on it. It is just another part of their landscape. If you make it some huge secret, that's when the "inappropriate touching" comes in.

They are two, and cant operate the slide. My wife can hardly operate the slide. They will be going to the range soon as well. I believe so strongly in starting them early...My other two have been raised the same way, and so was I.

So much for the days of old when we ran around in shorts & barefoot playing Army, Cowboy & Indians. We were traind about guns early from our military family, started hunting small game at 8 y o and knew that the wrath of GOD would come down on us if we even thought about crossing the line with them.
So sad that our kids will miss out on the freedoms of growing up like their parents.
I just pray that the Socialistic Liberal movement looses momentum & falls off the edge of the earth so we can get back to the good ole days. Flame on people.

Back in elementary school, between playing "saving the world" (and other terrorist games) and drawing pictures of guns & battle scenes, I would have had a lot of vacation.

I think a whole heluva lot of us would!!!!!!!! I don't know how many of my text books had the little flip animation of bombs, planes, tanks or guns blowing up the school in the corners of them.

Back in elementary school, between playing "saving the world" (and other terrorist games) and drawing pictures of guns & battle scenes, I would have had a lot of vacation.

I know this may be a dumb question, but I wonder if those little plastic army men are banned? I can remember back in 4th grade a bunch of us had a minor version of WW3 going with our army men in the brush behind school. Hell we even had plastic tanks and artillery. I'm betting these teachers and admins would be in hysterics if they witnessed all the death and destruction we unleashed during every recess and lunch break.

I volunteer 2 hours a week at my children's school. Last week in the 3rd grade class, a boy had a 'metal milita' tshirt on sporting silhouettes of crossed ar-15's.

I was amused. No children were harmed in the wearing of his shirt. I honestly think no one noticed or cared.

However, I explicitly instruct my children to never ever say, draw, or make any reference to anything about firearms.
