Fishing/Hunting - Washington State

As of the 4/5/6pm newscasts, it looks like Inslee is going to open up Fishing as a legal activity starting May 5th (next Tuesday).
He also ok'd Hunting for the coming season.
So, at least for now, looks like everything's on again.

Some fishing, golfing, hiking, hunting can resume May 5 in Washington state

Some state lands will be open for day use, including fishing, hunting and golfing, with social distancing measures. But camping and gatherings are still not allowed.

Yep, my outfitter sent a message right after his conference that my 2020 deer hunt is a go. What a relief. Now I am headed to the mountains to stream fish for trout......woot woot!

Kind a wet blanket from old pinheadslee in my mind. Opens saltwater fishing except areas 1-4 which are all the productive coastal bottomfish areas. Areas 5-13 are open but no halibut, shrimp or any shelfish. That leaves lingcod which is a one fish limit. It is pretty hard for me to get enthused at this point and I think I will wait until they cut loose with some other opportunities. It is progress in the right direction though.
