If you notice the advertisement, the effective date STARTS on SUNDAY, April 1st. It won't start tomorrow.
True, but in the email that was sent out today, Preferred members can shopping for this sale tomorrow ---- "Sale prices are available Saturday, March 31st to Preferred Club Members, prior to the ad being released in the Sunday paper"
I would say one way to prove that I am a Preferred Club Member is to bring a copy of the auto-reply email membership confirmation sent by Fishermans after I joined plus an ID that identifies me as the same person in that email.
Bad news guys, I am at the counter @ Oregon City and the ammo in NOT copper coated or hollow point. If you like Thunder bolt, great deal, but dirty.
I did ask, and here is the deal. If you look at the ad in the news paper, it has a Part# for the ammo "AE5022". I got a box of the ammo and it has the same part number. They used the wrong picture in the ad.......................... I assume that this non-coated lead is dirty like Thunderbolt, I have no I no idea since I have never shot it. However, if you like that kind of ammo, I suspect it maybe the best deal you will find. Does anyone have experince with this ammo? Good news, you do NOT need to be a Preferred Member for today (Saturday) as the Ruger clips rang up on sale, which is a great deal on factory 25 round clips at #24.95.
I stopped in (Oregon City) and picked up the Heritage Arms .22 revolver for $139.99. I've been wanting one for a while and it was a good price. Am heading out now to go test it out.
Happened to be in the DP and OC stores today, DP had lots of the american eagle 500 rnd bricks as of this afternoon. The OC store had only a few (maybe 8?) bricks on the counter at 7:30pm, they guy at the gun counter said he thought that was all they had in stock... Picked up 2 bricks, even if its dirty its cheap plinking ammo!
Okay, I posted a Range Report on the Heritage Arms Rough Rider .22 that was on sale: http://www.northwestfirearms.com/ha...ms-rough-rider-22-lr-revolver.html#post598724
