Decided to step into the bolt action world, and figured what better way than to build it myself...

Savage 110 long action
PTG fluted bolt/extended baffle/tac handle
McGowen 20" barrel .308win
NSS nut and recoil lug
HS precision stock
CDI bottom metal with AICS mags
Acu trigger (2lbs)
EGW 20moa mount
Vortex PST 4-16x50/vortex precision rings/switch view
Harris bipod
SWR Specwar (still in NFA jail)

After I break in the barrel, I'll bed the action and then get it coated. The fun never ends....

Yes, .308. I reload, just getting some baseline data with the 175's. Have a bunch of 178's and some 208 amax that I'll be working up for this. I'm in the process of bedding the scope mount and stock, and will see if there's a n improvement in accuracy before I start developing a load for it.

If bedding in stock might as well bed scope base as well!
Oh and I hadnt dropped bolt in receiver until was packing. Fits sooooo much better and totally changes the gun for good. Nice groups!
