New in the box (purchased at Federal Discount Guns last month) SIG P238 Equinox 2tone. Only out of the box to wipe down, take pictures.
I bought this with the intention of CC and decided to carry a Witness 40SW poly.

SIG P238 Equinox in box with all its papers, 1 mag, SIG Night Sights, ($655 receipt from Federal Way Discount guns)
plus the following. Over 750.00 invested Save $150 on the entire package. Sell entire package $600. Poss trade other Sig/H&k or 1911

how does it fit in the sig holster the gun came with?

Guess I should move it to Washington. Sorry,new to this board and I never took the factory holster out of the box. So I really can't answer that question. Comes with 3 other leather holsters.
Can the mods move the post?

If the factory holster it came with works, as in you can draw withought it sticking I will take it providing you are willing to go thru a ffl.
