First gun of '09

Picked her up today. 1957 manufactured Winchester model 88. 308 win. The stock is cracked but serviceable. Good bore, strong rifling. Missing front sight hood and sling swivles. Action is slick as butter. $329 otd at Nopp's. Rifles don't usually get my motor runnin', but i really like this rifle. It's a bit rough and needs some tlc, but a shootable pre-'64 at that price is comin' home with me. everyone feel free to add your first '09 to this thread.

First gun of 2009 was a Ruger PC9 that was LNIB with 6 magazines 4 of them factory 15 rounders that had never been used. (i think I scored big time)

Second gun I am hoping for a .357 revolver keep going back and forth between waiting longer for a smith or getting a taurus that I can basically afford new now ????
