A roughly 9x5x2 zippered pouch using this tutorial https://sarkirsten.com/pouch-pattern-calculator
But no lining, no interfacing, and instead of the triangle technique, I cut rectangles out and bound the 4 vertical seams in Coyote brown binding tape. One solid piece of fabric versus 5-6 seen on regular GP pouches
500D Fabric, commercial DGIII, a relative to USN NWU type III AOR2 green digital; from an Ebay purchase almost a year ago.
#5 metal Coil YKK zipper
Coyote brown binding tape
Coyote brown thread
Camo Green webbing tabs
Using Singer 31-20 Industrial.
Next, the 2nd 9x5x2 pouch and then the chest rig base panels to use up to 6x Esstac tall kydex inserts. Still not sure if I want 2 more utility pouches with buckle closures to make it a larger rig, or to just add MOLLE on the ends.
This pocket/pouch design can be used for pack organizers if desired.
