Not bad for my first try? It had the big target grips on it before and I wanted something more comfortable for my smaller hands for everyday plinking.

Might think about ordering a used set of full wood grips and working them down.

Wasn't sure of your skill set but I would have to do it like that to make sure they fit right lol.

Well I have some skills I guess. Maybe more patience than skills lol. I saw some cocobolo ones that weren't too expensive but I have all this Brazilian Cherry I picked up for free. One nice thing about wood projects, if you mess up they can go in the woodstove:p.
 
I appreciate all the kind feedback. As an afterthought I forgot that I cut out a couple more blanks for that grip because I thought sure I'd mess the first set up:p. If anyone has a model 66 or 19 and they'd like these rough blanks just holler and they're yours.
