I've just driven down some main road in Vancouver and found a local dealer selling them. I had a couple families pitch in together so the cost wasn't too bad. I love the ones that go up in the the air with the nice bang!

I live on 25 acres with 70 acres on one side of nothing and my nearest neighbor to the other side lives about a half mile away owns 45 acres. They join in the on our festivities too so I lucked out :)

Have fun and stay safe.

I don't think I have time to drive to Chehalis.

Anyone have any recommendations for the local ones. Which ones worked the best in the past.

My kids(girls) seemed to like the "Unicorn" the last two years. Some of those variety packs have some really lame stuff and some of the ones that look like they would be good are pretty lame.

Recommendations appreciated.

Actually, the Res is in Oakville. If you can find time, you'll get WAY more bang for your buck out there.

Wow, acrimony! Keep your hoses primed up with sprayers that will reach everywhere on your property and your pets in the most sound deadened area in your home. Oddly, my Bull Mastif could care less about the noise, handy but weird. As to the controversy here, I love fireworks! I used to shoot them illegally here in PDX and legally in Vantucky. I have always Felt that these nanny laws are lame in the extreme but I Think that there are just too many stoopid people on the planet to leave dangerous activities unregulated. That sucks but it is what it is! As a practical matter the fines are just too draconian for me to risk that ticket, and trust me, cash strapped municipalities will toss the book at offenders! Probably helps that my son is grown and gone! Be nice now!

I've always been one to have a good show, as safely as possible. A trip North to Vancouver was always a $300.00-$400.00 trip! Show with the neighbors was ALWAYS shut down at midnight, that last few years more like 11:00.

It's those A-HOLES that are making those bomb sounding things going off at 1-2-3 AM I wish would blow themselves UP!

I WAS going to make the trip to Chehalis this year and restock my Black Cats and bottle rocket supply, but changed my mind. The term "FELONY" carries way more importance to me now than it has in the past. It is not worth the risk, so all you so-called freedom lovers, on a firearms forum no less LOL, that want to risk your concealed permits and your "Right to Bear Arms", well have at it, but do know....If you are in my hood and setting off bombs after midnight I will be calling you in!

And hell, my neighbor two doors over always has a load of stuff, I'll just set my chair out front and cheer 'em on! I'll put the money I saved into the "New" firearm/ammo fund.

I didn't know this was turning into one of those websites...

Anyone know where I can buy some good crack?

yeah your closest good place is exit 88b I believe. It is the lucky eagle casino exit. I no longer live in the NW but I used to go there. You will have to ask for the good stuff and they will take you to a separate area. Thy prices arn't cheap by any means...

On our 80 acres property when it was legal 40 years ago:s0133: I used to combine my model rocketry talents with plain jane fireworks for some spectacular results. Of course it took time to build the rocket fins and bodies but that was half the fun. Ya gotta love a high school that had two model rocketry classes and a wind tunnel.

Exit 88 is the spot, unfortunate it's not closer but thems the breaks. If you go deeper into the reservation prices are better than in the casino parking lot. In northern Washington up near Sedrow Woolley they had really great prices a few years ago.

Sad that people can't be bothered with a little noise a few nights a year so people can celebrate the few freedoms they still have. They'd rather inform on people and perpetuate laws that are arbitrary government nannying. Why it'd come up here is all the more absurd because as firearm owners I'd imagine we can handle firecrackers safely...

Went to the indian reservation up near Rochester. Prices were more than in the Couv for the same stuff (Except firecrackers and bottle rockets). Bomber brothers had best pricing (I saw). Had good success with something called Bad Mother-in-law.

Next year I'll be in South Carolina where most everything is legal and for sale year round (Oh yea and it's half the cost of the Couv stuff.)

Chehalis Tribe, I5 north exit 88b towrds Aberdeen, go about 5-8 miles, Signs will appear everywhere for fireworks..they barter also, and are pretty nice and its a little over an hour is all from vancouver. They have a casino also i think called lucky eagle.

I enjoy fireworks but since the kids grown I don't buy them just watch the neighbors. We live with in ten miles of a reservation so lots of the good stuff being fired off. What I don't like is one neighbor makes a week of it and has done so since he moved in three years ago. He sells cars for a living so his work day doesn't start until noon, this adds up to a week loud explosions at 12AM every night. He will light off two or three go back in his house wait a half hour or so then do it again. Most of it isn't the pretty stuff just the loud stuff. I expect many neighbors have called the police on him as they always show up when he starts doing it. I haven't called the police because you have to contact them via 911 and I'm not going to tie up the emergency line because my neighbor is an ***. Last year another neighbor and I were chatting on the sidewalk when this guy came by, I mentioned that the midnight explosions were annoying when you have to get up at 5AM and suggested he save the fireworks for the fourth. His response was it's a free country buy some ear plugs. After that I did email the PD explained the situation and my brief conversation with the guy. The next time I saw this neighbor was about a week after the 4th last year I was working in my yard and he came over to tell me the police had given him a large ticket and took his fireworks. I laughed and said, it sort of expensive to live in a free country isn't it. He was pissed but just walked away.

He's doing the same thing this year but now it's sort of funny, he will light off something loud, then runs back in his house and turn all the light off in his house for about a half hour. I just don't understand people like this. I enjoy blowing stuff up as much as the next guy but this guy just seems to like to make noise.
