I'm not sure if this is the right forum so moderators please move this if necessary.

I will be camping at Jessie Honeyman State Park in the next couple of weeks and wanted to know if there are any laws, regulations, restrictions about firearms in the park? I'm a California resident (yes, I know :)) and so I always have to double-check the laws when I travel. Thanks for any help.

Road Side Rest Areas: YES 166.37

XYZ, to be more specific, since you are not an Oregon resident, you are asking about the ability to open carry right? If so, Cougfan2 already got it right. If you have a Oregon CHP you are good-to-go for conceal carry also.

Thanks for the follow-up. I think Cougfan2 answered my questions. I have a non-resident CHP so I should be good to go.

I did have a new question - if I have a CHP is conceal carry allwed in the Three Rivers Indian Casino that's right up the road?

That's a whole other issue. It actually brings up another question for me. Since it is an Indian casino, would you technically be on reservation land? If so, a whole new set of laws could apply. This is one time I wouldn't just say "concealed means concealed". Normally I wouldn't ask even if it was posted "no firearms" if it were a mall or restaurant. In that case if someone found out and asked you to leave you would have to leave or you could be charged with trespassing.

Anyone have any insight on carrying at an Indian casino?
