A recent fire on Fish Creek Rd about a couple of miles up the road was apparently started by target shooting. This spot is not for target practice yet it is used often even though there are many better spots just minutes further up the road. If you drive this far why not drive a little further to an appropriate spot. Very sad. Fortunately it appears that it was put out quickly. It could have been much worse.
