A 30-06 that left the factory in 1961.

I brought some life back into this old timer and threw some skinner sights on it, now it's ready for fall bear on the mountain. Deep clean, front sight hood, painted front sight, new and fitted firing pin (that was something new for me), new trigger "pack", dialed trigger down just right, skinner rear peep, and new rear dove which holds a second aperture (one large and one small). I am going to go out this weekend and get her dialed in and shoot some groups. I also have some 180 grain solid coppers I am going to hunt with.

Had to get a new front sight blade from skinner sights, luckily I had to do zero filing and it was sighted in straight away after a quick few turns of the rear. the groups are 50 yards, 100 yards, and a four shot quick string satanding at 30 yards.
