I got a place to store that lever action ;)

Have yet to get me one. Then again I still have an AR-308 to finish and a 12g to modify.

Hey now...say that in a whisper. They might hear you. They are all still perfectly functional machines of beauty. Haha.

I dig the idea of a safe - but i also enjoy having them out and about. They're purdy. Some folks like pictures of scenery...different strokes for different folks...

But for the same amount of time it takes to get to and open a safe, i can put the firing pins and such back in, and the only ones anyone could have easier access to are the cap and ball.

Yeah, i like my ranch hand and .30-30. Just something about lever guns...the .30-30 is a "Remlin", but first year manufacture after Remington bought Marlin, so still using Marlin parts, at least.

Krueger - maybe we can go for a shoot sometime and check some out in person.

Would love to make a nice wall display out of mine, but I would have to put bars on the windows and buy better doors.:(

I'm still trying to take a decent group picture.

Spent the cost of another rifle on a nice safe a couple of years ago,
but I seldom have the whole family out at once to admire.:(
Once a year wipe down is what most of them get unless we have a range day.

I hear ya. We are getting security doors soon, and i deadbolt my bedroom door. Wouldn't mind digging a moat around the house, too, haha. Once we can afford to build a small workshop, i plan to get a safe. My workshop is usually the most secure place I have, haha.
