Would it be possible for the magazines to be stripped/disassembled (if mag construction allows) and give to customer as "parts" and not as actual magazines??

Well, that idea ain't gonna work! Thanks for clarifying. No - 114:
(d) "Large-capacity magazine" means a fixed or detachable magazine, belt, drum, feed strip, helical feeding device, or similar device, including any such device joined or coupled with another in any manner, or a kit with such parts, that has an overall capacity of, or that can be readily restored, changed, or converted to accept, more than 10 rounds of ammunition and allows a shooter to keep firing without having to pause to reload,
They THINK it's about those awful "assault rifle" mags and don't realize their nightstand Glock or S&W is impacted. Personally, I'm hoping for as much buyer's remorse from the yes and non voters as possible. Maybe next time they will learn a little before they vote. The customer will have no choice like it or not. OR is FAR from being first in this so its not something new. In some cases it will actually be kind of humorous. Assuming this law in OR stands it will be years and gun owners will still "just find out" about it. For every gun owner who only finds out about the law after it effects them? Great, that tells you they paid no attention to what was going on until it was too late.
I went and spoke to a large box of old mags and they told me they identify as 10 round now so I am all setWhat 11+ mags?
…..only 10 round mags exist.
Period.
