FFL Applications. What to expect

    Hi

    I an doing the reading for a FFL.

    What am I in for?

    What do they want to see. Hear etc?

    Anybody been through the process since the last ice age?

    Please advise

    The site is ultimately selling the info, but check out ffl123.com. It is legit and there is some free info.

    now, I have 0 1st hand info on this but from what I have read up, the ATF is not issuing FFLs to those who do not have a storefront these days.

    Call the main atf office and they will send you everything you need for free!

    Exactly, I got an 03ffl 5 years ago (aka collector or curio and relic license)the folks at batf are helpful, send out all the right forms, and you can call them and get advice.

    sounds like a "chicken or egg" situation, if you are going into business you want the license first. It only takes a week or 10 days to change the address.
