Some time ago while prowling the shelfs at the liquor store I came across some
stuff call Fernet. It had the weirdest ingredients. Doug Fir and some otherr herbs.
I forgot about it. It got buried in the garage until my wife found it, brought it in and
I poured myself a healthy one over ice since I had no idea what a mix would be.
So it goes down pretty smooth, but is followed by a lengthy variety of loud
after tastes, not all are pleasant. Anybody else try this stuff? Reaction?

Some kind of gin then?

I heard about TEA being made out of spruce, fir, pine, etc. needles, different tea leaves, various types of flowers, herbs and weeds but I never heard what you described.
