Ouch.

I had a feeling this time round would be a harsher attempt, seeing as they saw how the last one got worked around.

No politician "in their right mind" would actually pass this. Please not that I have been wrong before, am not a psychiatrist, and am not wearing my tin foil hat, right now.

Many more reasons we gun owners must write daily to "elected" officials. Clear and concise facts, and make sure she stays in kommifornia. That ideology of a unicorns and rainbow society does not exist. Keep socialism out of the Pacific Northwest.

Tin foil hat on.........right.........now. GO!!! :confused:

This is the part they want the worse of all. For eventual confiscation and to make criminals out of anyone who owns a pre-ban firearm that fit the ban profile. Line up for your picture and fingerprint, glove test, and most important registration COSTS/FEES or be labeled a dangerous criminal.

Requires that grandfathered weapons be registered under the National Firearms Act, to include:

Background check of owner and any transferee;
Type and serial number of the firearm;
Positive identification, including photograph and fingerprint;
Certification from local law enforcement of identity and that possession would not violate State or local law; and
Dedicated funding for ATF to implement registration

We are a bankrupt nation, 16+ trillion in debt. Yes, a huge new budget for the ATF makes perfect sense. So sad. To accomplish nothing except to harass and categorize lawful citizens.

Just a few more incidents though and it will be locked in ...

Yeah, this is Eefffing disgusting. I'm gonna get back to barfing my guts up in the toilet.

The registration is the scary part. I try to not fall into the conspiracy ideas, but man, that sure does seem like a hit list. Or at least could become one.

I can barely hold keep my lunch down. This is utter and complete bullbubblegum. NRA better step up real hard otherwise they can forget about getting anymore money from me.

Also, if ATF rules apply to semi-auto rifles will mean that I will lose my AR since I'm not a citizen yet.

When Diane officially introduces this "wish list", Harry Reid will view this like someone just dumped a dead cat on the Senate floor, and then bury it in committee.

So 1) only 1 time on a gun can get it a BAN 2) thumbhole stocks, really how many of us have target rifles with thumb hole stocks??? How many 22's have you seen with this stock, lots.

she is a real peach, One more reason Mom & Dad left Cali

What the hell is a "Military" characteristic????? That is perhaps one of the dumbest things i have ever heard. I was a kid when the first "Assault" weapon ban was passed, so i might not be up on the lib lingo but that could be anything. You can even go as far as saying that that gun has a military characteristic cause it shoots a bullet!
Also doesn't she have a Concealed carry permit.... i wounder if what she carries has a 10 round mag or if its "high Capacity"

Ah.................therein lies the problem! Only 4 million supporters out of 80 million gun owners, so who in Washington DC will take them seriously???

All the other 76 million wait for the NRA, GOA, or SAF to fight the anti-gun folks but can't see eye to eye with those organizations enough to put up that huge sum of $35 per year to give them the authority to speak for gun owners.

Step up or give up your gun rights! Ask the gun owners in the UK, Canada and Australia how quick it will happen and how their last minute protests were ignored by the press and politicians. Once its law its over.

Please pick an organization of your choice and join today.

She is a Democratic politician from California. Can't you see their economic policy works? They are one of the worst run economies in the world and the worst run state in the country according to 24/7 Wall St. But, they just passed a bill to tax everyone at 250k or higher a whopping 52% including federal. That will save them! Just ask them, they'll tell you how those greedy rich people, not themselves of course, they are public champions, horde all the money and let people die on the street. California is what the Democrats want the rest of the country to become.

Cue, a "military" characteristic is anything that the average person who is totally afraid of guns would find scary. So, this
Tippmann_A5_Machine_Gun_Barrel_Shroud.jpg
is an assault weapon to them, no matter that it fires paintballs or has nothing to do with how the gun works. To them that paintball gun with the barrel shroud might as well be this:

Not gonna happen. This will never even make it to committee. But hey, if you are the type of person who believes this kind of stuff, by all means rush right out and pay $4000 for an AR...

Each of your AR15's, XD's, etc. would be required you to fill out a form 4 and I assume pay $200 to the BATF to posses or transfer:huh:

This wont happen, no one worry... :paranoid:

Interesting state of public opinion from Gallup.

Opposition to Handgun Ban Hits Record-High 74% and Opponents of Assault Rifle Ban Still Outnumber Proponents.

On the other hand, They want limits on hi-capacity magazines and a record-high 47% of Americans favor passing new gun laws.

Still, this was taken starting a mere 3 days after the horrible events at Sandy Hook., It'll be interesting to see if these opinions harden, or this is a mere blip on the radar.

Sorry, but the people have spoken. Obama wanted "assault weapons" gone and a week after he opened his big mouth - poof they were gone, off every shelf in America. Too many understand history and what is at stake.

Yep, it this passes and you don't register, they find you have one, it will be as bad as if you had an unregistered machine gun now.
