I don't know for sure, but I don't think the FEG mags are interchangeable with 1911s, but these FEGs have 8 round mags that are reasonably available for a decent price. Promag makes them in blued steel.

FWIW, the Hungarians have a proud history of taking their firearms very seriously. I would expect this to be a very nice get for someone at what appears to be a very good price.

Your right this will not take 1911 mags very good shooters and mags are low priced.
