anyone have any bad experiences with federal 220 large rifle primers? Picked up a box of 1000 at sportsmans warehouse in hillsboro for $24. When doing some research online afterwards opinions were mixed. Sime said no problem. Some said they were like .001 bigger and wouldn't fit.
Any thoughts?

They're fine. All brass is different and certain primers might suit particular brass a bit better than others. But Federal primers are good.

IIRC....the regular Federal 210s were what I used to make my Match .308 rounds. Consistent, mild and a smoothing seating effort with my hand priming tool. Just the way I like them for my style of reloading rifle rounds.

in contrast....I stay away from CCIs.

But, it's up to you.:D
