i have a 1953 model 70 featherweight in 308 that has a badly beatup stock i am trying to find a original replacement that would be a drop in or something with minimal effort to fit any help would be greatly appreciated

Hard to find item, as these command premium prices if left original.
How bad is the condition of the stock? Are you going to use the gun or do you want to bring the value up with a better stock?
