Rooftop Defense did a limited run of super rare OD Green USPs. There have only been a very small number of USPs produced by HK, and prior to this, HK had never done a OD Green frame 9mm. Rooftop was able to do a special order of 250 USP9s, and 500 USP9Tacticals. As of right now, there are only 19 of the USP9Tacticals left, so will probably sell out pretty shortly. I ended up buying both, as a OD green USP was a dream gun for me! ;-) https://www.rooftopdefense.com/prod...tical-v3-4-86-pistol-od-green-frame-1-of-500/. Here it is with my SilecerCo Spectre 9 suppressor:

You paid $1400 for a plastic 9mm because it's green? 🐸

100%. Technically did it twice as I bought the regular OD Green USP too from Rooftop. FYI you get a free pack of Ramen with every purchase from Rooftop, so it greatly lowers the cost . . . ;-)

Ok that's fair. I bought a $1300 Beretta because it had red accents.

Tell me about this ramen thing because there's someone on this forum that also gives a free pack of ramen to people who buy their stuff... I don't understand what I assume is a meme

It's me. Im that guy. ;-). I learned it from Rooftop Defense, as Saul (the owner or Rooftop) started doing it with every order a while back. Thought it was hella funny, and made my wife laugh when I showed her that I got a free pack of ramen after ordering 2 green USPs totaling $2500! ;-). So I figured why the hell not.

I started offering a free pack of Ramen with each gun I have sold over the last two months, as a joke. Well guess what, it has gotten a TON of traction- it is advertising, people take notice compared to just a boring post. Kinda like you stating 'there's someone' here that does this, well it caught your eye, so it's all about marketing! Plus hey no one ever said no to FREE RAMEN! ;-)

Fast forward two months, and I am selling guns pretty darn fast, at least for what I hear from others about how slow buying is, and how 'the classifieds are dead', and have sold everything I have posted for asking price. Maybe I am just pricing my guns well and have what people want, but almost everything I have posted recently has sold, and some pretty darn quickly . Posted a CZ SP01Tactial yesterday, (of course with free pack of Ramen) and it sold in less than an hour! Buyer was cracking up when we met at Highline today, and even the sales staff took notice and were laughing that it was a $700 gun and a pack of ramen in the bag I brought in! ;-)

Here's one of my current posts, for my Staccato C2 (with free pack of Ramen of course! ;-) For this one, I might even throw in TWO packs of Ramen!)

I don't know a flippin thing about 10mm conversion but saw this thread fwiw:

Meh, I've moved on. The XD-M 5.25 serves the same purpose. The 9x25 Dillion barrel adds even more to the package!

XD-M has a better trigger than any HK (outside of the P7-M8) I've had as well.

This guy BETTER be an Asian from L.A..
100% he is- Korean,, but his store is in Arkansas. However the name absolutely comes from the LA riots in 1992. From his "About Us" page:

"The name, Rooftop Defense, plays on the nickname given to Sol and pays homage to his Korean heritage. During the LA riots of '92, looting and violence took over much of Koreatown. After it became apparent that nobody was going to come to their aid, Koreans took to the rooftops to defend their property with great success."

Sorry I have been spelling his name "Saul" but it is actually spelled "Sol". Awesome guy ,and awesome customer service. He prides himself on that everything ships out SAME DAY. Highly recommend Rooftop, and all orders shipped with Ramen. Here's a photo of Sol, from his "About Us" page: https://www.rooftopdefense.com/about/

Blah. I'm part Polish. Does that mean I get to take credit for the PT83?

Ruger P89 & P95
CZ 75B SA
Sig 226SAO RXP

I see you and others prefer the SA version of the CZ. Is that a general preference across the board or just for those in particular? I believe i shot a cz75 Da/sa a year or so ago and liked it but maybe I should try shooting the SA version.

For me fwiw it's a general preference across the board due to the trigger. I have and shoot both da/sa and sao and I only shoot the da/sa guns in single action. I buy da/sa guns such as Jericho, Sar, Arex that have manual safeties for this reason. I shoot/carry them cocked and locked/SAO as I much prefer to have the same trigger pull every time.

The only reason I have never bought a p226 is no safety and I'm too cheap to buy the SAO legion version :s0112: . I did shoot the p220 10mm SAO legion 2 days ago and loved it. I might sell some guns and buy the p226 SAO someday. Just my preference and someone else may feel completely differently.

I was out at my old stomping grounds in Forest Grove earlier today and stopped in at Bimart to pick up a couple things. Swung by the gun case a saw they had a B&T CZ clone variant of some sort for $1350. Not my cup of tea, but nice to see something a bit more refined sitting in the case than the usual suspects. Lol

The SAO 75B version vs the DA/SA has a much better feeling trigger. But not something I'd want to carry, being SAO. As much as I like(d) my SAO 75B, there is no comparison to my 226 SAO. Stock triggers, no mods the Sig absolutely blows the 75B out of the water. As it should at nearly 2x the price 🤣

A gun guy runs the counter there. Bi-Mart management let's him order in better guns and optics than you'll find at any other Bi-Mart. We chatted one afternoon - he was very knowledgeable.
