I am going to start reloading this cartridge using bullet weights of 150 - 180 grains. I have plenty of reloading books and reload many other calibers but I am looking for personal experience now. Can anyone recommend a truly outstanding powder for this cartridge?
Thank you. I'll check out that site however a Belgian Mauser is actually a 7.65X53 rimless cartridge. The cartridge I'm interested in is the 7.62 Russian which is a rimmed cartridge. It is called a 7.62x54R when used in rifles with a groove diameter of .312", commonly of Russian manufacture, and 7.62x53R when used in rifles with a groove diameter of .308", most often found in guns of Finnish origin. The site does offer possibilities though. Thank you again.
