The USMC writing looks nothing like the one I had

Simply by the USMC markings in the first photo I would say fake. Not to say someone didn’t engrave that after purchasing. Not sure why they would though.

A lot of reputable companies sell stuff on Amazon, it's just when you start buying stuff from unknown third-party's that you have problems.
