SO anyone else see the big news about Face Books Gun for sale policys today?

<broken link removed>

In a nut shell they will be reminding people posting ads what the law says, restricting people under 18 from seeing the pages, and making sure no one posts anything like "No back ground Check required" as part of an add. In an attempt to circumvent the law. So basically stuff that will have virtually no effect on our ability to conduct business via their web site.

There are dozens of groups on Facebook dedicated to the sale and discussion of firearm just here based on Oregon sales. I am sure there are the same in other states that private sales are still legal. Facebook in effect operates same as the classified ads here.

It's not as bad as I had thought it was going to be.

In a nutshell, we'll have to be more careful about how we do business, and not openly state "No background check necessary!"

IMHO, it just means that dedicated forums like the NWFA which are run by 2nd amendment believers are more and more valuable.
There are some on this and other forums that would argue this!
