extending 14.5 inch to 16 inch barrel

Rather than going SBR or pistol route, I would like to extend (pin) my 14.5 inch barrel to 16 inch or slightly greater.

Because this is a relatively permanent modification I would input from members as to which extension/options may be the most flexible. Assuming the pinned extension would include a flash hider it would be nice to include a tri-lug adapter or threaded option in case I want to add a suppressor at some time.

What brand/model have you selected to have pinned to your barrel and why? Or what do you think would be a good expandable option for me?

All you'll do is pin/weld a 1.5" flash hider on it. That's it.

I used a Surefire Warcomp on my 14.5 mid-length. Gets me to 16 1/2ish. The Warcomp will get a 13.7 barrel over 16. Bought it for suppressor compatibility.
