Absolutely. Maybe you should have gone with "not a single protester discharging a firearm" to keep the hairsplitters happy? I could be wrong, but the only discharging of a firearm that I read about was the woman protester getting shot.

I especially like the way Newsweek mentioned a handful of guys that were armed with guns, then rolls into a statement about how more than 85 of the more than 800 charged were charged with using a deadly or dangerous weapon or causing serious bodily injury to an officer. That's a sloppy, lazy, yet cunning way to include flagpoles and other items into a firearms story. The media indeed is no friend of the 2A.
