Selling a 1943 Ithaca Model 1911A1 in excellent overall condition with a Parkerized finish. Comes complete as shown in pictures with a U.S. Army leather belt holster, WW2 U.S. Army leather shoulder holster, three original magazines, and vintage U.S. Army .45ACP non-corrosive ammunition (one unopened box and one partial box).

This 1943 Ithaca 1911A1 is from my late father's collection. He was an Army officer in the late 1950s-early 1960s and personally purchased this pistol for use as his duty sidearm. From personal knowledge can attest that the pistol has not been fired since the early 1980s, with just 30 rounds of target shooting at that time. Selling for $2,500 cash or USPS Money Orders only for total amount including transfer costs (estimated $40) = $2,540.00.

  1. I agree to the classified rules and terms of service
I would buy that shoulder holster in a flat out second for my '43 Remington Rand if it came up for sale separately.

Probably so. I had reservations on selling it at all, but didn't want to shoot it. Some sentimental attachment too, as my father just passed away in 2019.
