Yup, if you've bought a firearm and had a Brady Background Check run on you, rest assured, you and said firearm are linked together in an unnamed data warehouse under some mountain.

Speaking of Brady background check, Brady was wounded in the Reagan assignation attempt, which was of course well before the Brady bill was passed. But guess how long it took the secret service to identify the store and purchaser where the weapon was purchased? 15 minutes!
