    I bet you could stagger the shot shells a bit and make the ammo strip fold 50%. Either that or put it at an angle with a secure point that attaches to your rear belt loop area. Would give room for at least one extra pistol mag.

    Plus wouldn't the Shorty shotgun be the lighter bet?
