Another reason why I keep my windows up (or just down slightly) and the doors locked (and have trained my wife to do the same) because that will give you at least some time to become aware of a situation and hopefully escape without being harmed. Sad that it has gotten that we have to do that, but stories like this just keep reinforcing to me that I should do what I'm doing.

They've never gone away. But it is much harder to get someone committed to one than it used to be. That is both good and bad. It is good from the standpoint that there were plenty of people sent there that didn't belong. It is bad in that now many that should be there aren't.
