Poll: Ever considered putting in a fallout shelter?

We too have such instruments squirreled away.

I too have the manual and an extra ion chamber. I also have a few of the pencil dosimeters laying around and one that is digital. The problem with the ion chambers and the digital dosimeter is they need periodic calibration. There are places that you can send them, but don't try it at home

My father-in-law was a Civil Defense volunteer back in the day; he can, and has, calibrated them for us.

No fallout shelter. Considered burying three 40' shipping containers end to end in my yard to have a "basement" shooting range.

Step 1) Hide in shelter.

Step 2) Fail to pay property tax despite apocalypse.

Step3) Be raided by the FBI, ATF and IRS who have government funding and barely noticed the world ended anyway.

Step 4) Die because they confiscated all your supplies to pay back taxes.

I've lost intereset to this game in less than 2-3 weeks I remember, but a nice thing to try if you fun of fallout 2 and 1 parts as me imo
