I was at the show this morning. It was $10 and was not the usual scene of area dealers bringing all their stock. this was the Willamette Valley Arms Collectors Association show. Lots of collectors showing off their collections and selling plenty of stuff. Good show..

kid made out like a bandit, all kinds of free stuff

great show, lots of good stuff
giant 1911 display
almost bought a savage 1899 32 special, octagon barrel.
great looking gun $550

I'm sure both will have beanie babies and jerky galore especially CW as that has been their MO and why I dont go to their shows.

I might be going to the Eugene show - based on prior experience, are there good deals to be had (looking at 22LR handguns)? Or am I better off here or through a dealer? How does the background check process work (sorry, never been to a gun show)

My wife will be at the Collectors West show this weekend selling my ammo for me while I work on getting healthy again.

It was crazy small. Not what I was going for. Not a lot of varieties, though hilariously two dealers selling the same handgun for vastly different prices ($300 and $450)

I met another member up in Oregon city and I was gonna head down. I got to salem and changed my mind, I headed east and went home to spend the afternoon with the kids. Kinda glad I did....i do need some 41 mag ammo from Mike though
