I've been there almost every year for rifle sight-ins and that's where the hands-on part of my kids' hunter's safety classes were held and I do like the vibe.

I was always going to join. Applied at one point and was put on a waiting list. When my name finally came up, there were a couple of missed calls and they apparently went on with the list. It was probably a year later that I checked back and was told I had been dropped from the list:(.

I drove by it last weekend on the way to shooting on Wildcat and thought about it again. Hmmm...

Funny story: about five years ago while being there for rifle sight-in, there were probably a half-dozen rabbits running around on the range. Didn't seem to bother them a bit that the bullets were whizzing by overhead, and while I'm sure most of the people there saw them, not a single round was slung at them.
