quite possible you need to enter more than a hyperlink?

Read the hyperlink, you'll find that there is swear words in there that will cause an error when the swear filter kicks in.

tiny.url will help you get that URL in a post, otherwise it's never going to work.

not so much a problem with the forum, a problem with their link verbiage.

we had another URl that came up with bit..h but it was a valid URL. because it's not looking at context the word was changed. Try the TinyURL and share.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's due to the word filter.
