Gday Folks,
As this one doesn't align with my usual collection I've decided to move her on. 1906 SHTLE MKI***, the precursor to the SMLE MkIII so a very unusual rifle. This rifle is in very good working order and condition, at some point it ended up in Ireland which is where I'm guessing it acquired the mkiii rear handguard. It is missing the bolt charger guide, has the incorrect rear handguard and missing the rear butt sling swivel. Overall this is a very nice example. Transfer will be done in person at Baseline Pawn in Cornelius, I am open to offers and accept cash, gold and silver as form of payments. See attached for the photos, priced at $1250

  1. I agree to the classified rules and terms of service
Wish it had the original rear upper handguard, those things are unobtanium!

If it doesnt sell as fast as you'd like, send me a PM. I collect enfields but I sold my last two irish No1 Mk1s and regret it. Good luck with your sale.

I actually bought a rear handguard for one back in the 2000's at a gunshow for the price of $5, actually gave it to a mate of mine to complete his, he won't give it back now of course! However in the case or this rifle I would say putting a new rear handguard on takes away from its history, whoever put it on did it a long time ago, I'm guessing pre WWII by the aging and the fact that it's almost matching wear and tear

Ausrotor... How's the bore look? RIfling left, corrosion/pits? It's been around the block, considering it's age...
If only it could talk!
My apologies mate I missed this, no pitting and strong rifling, if anything could use a good clean.

Also dropped the price

Did you sell the Enfield yet?

Price Drop to $900. This is a great deal, one in worse condition with the exact same features and a visit to Ireland sold for $1100 on gb this morning. I'm trying my best to avoid putting this up for sale there as it's a giant pain and would prefer to sell local, can throw in a box of ammo as well
