Does anyone know what (if any thing) Springfield does with their EMP to make it California compliant? I know the timing has to be just right on Kimbers and the grip safeties have to be fully depressed (even past the trigger release point) or the firing pin block will drag on the firing pin sufficiently to cause a light enough hit on the primer which will fail to ignite the round even though the hammer fall feels and sounds normal. Pull that firing pin safety stuff out of a Kimber, which is easy to do, and that problem goes away. I'm considering an EMP for a duty weapon and can't afford the risk of a misfire.
Thanks,
Semper Fi
