Wouldn't it be as easy to store all of the info you want on a flash drive? Then you can store the flash drive in a place away from your guns... You could have pics and model/serial # info, too.

Any device can be damaged or not function.

I'd say just make sure you also have back-up, plain old fashion way. Write/Type down on the paper (Maybe laminate them for water/humanity proof)

i just had my account hacked less then 60 days ago (hotmail) no matter what questions i answered for them ...... i had to establish a new account ! everything in my old account was gone , and it was a 10 yr. old account ! now i load up all contacts and info i want to keep and trasfer to a folder . email is a excellent way to send items , but not a good place to keep them !!
