Yes, the video is in part an advertisement. The video also contains factual information related to gun ownership and the second ammendment. USA Ammo has no motive other than selling a product and protecting everyones 2A rights, including the liberal nay sayers posting in this thread.

So someone has discovered the ability to "prove" a negative? They must be on the short list for a Nobel!

Lacking any evidence that someone has not done something does not, in itself, make that something true. How about some Factual evidence to support the claim? What has this administration done to "get yer guns"? Something specific. Like:

George HW Bush's 1989 ban on the import of semi automatic rifles...
Reagan's 1986 'Machine Gun' ban...
Clinton's AWB...

Are we forgetting that the assault on the second amendment being so casually asserted by this insane group of fear-mongers actually requires passage through both houses of congress and ratification by the states, or is this simple detail so radically difficult to comprehend?

Very well stated IMO. Just like 2008, just because everyone is afraid that "they" might do something, lets just get the fear ball rolling before anything is actually done. That's what happened last time and guns/ammo/components flew off the shelf and prices skyrocketed. Obama and his administration didn't do a damn thing to make that happen. That happened because everyone went around crying wolf. So now, here we go again I guess. Ridiculous.

I think what everyone here is trying to point out is the negative and bias approach that the video takes and the giant leap to conclusions. Having a photoshopped picture of Obama shaking hands with Hitler isn't going to win any brownie points with me. But I have to ask you what has Obama done against gun owners? I know his ADMINISTRATION has stated that gun laws are in the future and his campaign site in 2008 stated that gun control was a top priority, but noteworthy the only thing he has really pushed this last term is his Obama health care and his civilian police force. Don't get me wrong, I dissagree with both stances and think that they are very socialistic and anti-American values. Nevertheless we still have ammunition without stamped serial numbers, we can still shoot lead bullets, there is no national AWB and no new gun laws have really been compounded on us.

So again, what has Obama done against gun owners except talk? They did stop letting military brass be re-sold to civilians, but that got over turned. There was a "lead free" campaign against lead bullets, but that got dropped. HR-25 has been dead in the water for YEARS, so you tell us what about that video was actually true and correct information and not just fear mongering to buy more ammo?

Political cool-aide comes in all colors and flavors. Don't knock one just to pick up and drink another.

It appears so. But you know, those were different times too. Now we have a failed Assault Weapons ban,
crime rates that are going down despite increase in gun ownership and deregulation in many areas. We have
Supreme Court decisions, etc. So it's not like Obama didn't want to do stuff, it's just that his presidency
happened to be during the time when gun control went out of fashion

"Everyone" Technically it wasn't really everyone, it was the right. The other side, "Left", were all working hard to take "our" guns and ammo away according to the right.

There's both sides of the aisle here on NWFA, why must one side constantly try to alienate the other, would you rather go it alone?

I wasn't trying to alienate anyone, rather I was trying not to point a finger at anyone in particular. Those who preach hate and fear transcend political affiliation and I was merely offering up that everyone who engaged in it was responsible. As for going it alone, most of the time I would rather do just that. I don't depend, or want to depend, on anyone but myself to make it in this world and that covers the full spectrum of life for me.

why? last time i checked in the 3+ years Pres Obama has been in office he has not even got near gun laws/safty/ control. congress members have brought him stuff to look at. but by no mean is he going out of his way to stop good hardworking americans from owning guns.
