This was the same officer that rose to fame because he bought a homeless guy some boots. Doesn't sound like a cold blooded killer.
Obviously not a good or correct outcome. But i've always sided with common senses. You fight the cops and your going to lose.

People need to learn about authority. Look at dirtbag kids these days

It almost looked like the other officer hit his gun or maybe it was just bad trigger control. Either way doesn't make sense why he unholstered the weapon to begin with. Or why they couldn't call for others to help tie up his feet.

Either way that guy was a idiot for fight them anyways

Uh yeah.

Did any of the "hang em" guys actually read the article?

It was an accident.

They should be held to a higher standard.. And they've consistently show shown that they aren't.

Be it the consequences of their actions (or lack there of) and their training.

Better trigger discipline?!
You and I would be in jail within the hour! Its unacceptable.

Yeah they handle firearms daily. And use them more often in stressful situation not just at the bench. It's a different dynamic.

They should actually be held to the same standard, but thats not the case.
Cops are just regular people. Like you and me with an impossible job. They often have less training than some of us.

The video show someone being dragged out side - yes?
The video shows a struggle, yes?
2 LEO and 1 handcuffed person, yes?
At just past 1 min, both LEO seem to loose control - run back - one almost out of screen, one takes a minute and pulls a firearm.
Shows the hand cuffed person being shot, yes? about 1:08 on video.

the story says he died from being shot.

So @The Heretic what is not accurate about that?

If you were drawing on an ex-body-builder who was high on bath salts, who was resistant to your taser, plus all the other facts in the article, would you be covering him with your finger off the trigger?

Obviously he was ready to shoot if necessary, but didn't intend to shoot - yet.

They should have shackled him then or had more people there to handle him. The fact is they were not properly prepared to deal with someone they KNEW was a problem, and he was killed by a negligent discharge.
