Nice, Corporate made a special round file inbox just for people to send emails to. Probably has a nice auto reply set up as well.

If you have a firearm in M114 purgatory at Cabela's in Springfield, and you want to urge them to release it under the "3-day rule", you can contact them at:
ATFCompliance.springfield@cabelas.
I haven't received an auto reply…Nice, Corporate made a special round file inbox just for people to send emails to. Probably has a nice auto reply set up as well.
Most likely you are correct, being a chain store with corporate lawyers and all, but I told them anyway!Cabelas won't do it. They will just refund you any money and ship the guns off to other states.
Yep if anyone sues then good luck they will run you dry just in lawyer feesMost likely you are correct, being a chain store with corporate lawyers and all, but I told them anyway!
JB firearms, Tigard pawn, Oregon arms, nwarmory, Oregon rifle company. I would start with phone calls to these placesIs it time for another Public Service Announcement on who is doing the "3-day rule" and accepting private transfers? Saw the last one but seems some things have changed.
Got a guy interested in my bolt rifle and do not know where to begin.
Can someone link to the official 3 day rule? I googled it and couldn't find it….?
Try contacting BBT Arms tomorrow. Let us know what he says.Is it time for another Public Service Announcement on who is doing the "3-day rule" and accepting private transfers? Saw the last one but seems some things have changed.

Go to 18 U.S.C. 922(t) (scroll all the way down to "(t)") and 27 CFR 478.102(a)(2) (short scroll to "(a)(2") and there you'll find the statutes and refs referenced in J&B's initial post in this thread. Hope this helps. Can someone link to the official 3 day rule? I googled it and couldn't find it….?
I think that on the 8th someone should gather this info into an official list of who stood up and who did not.Northwest Will do it if you purchase from them. Hummel Arms will not do it "in a million years", he almost hung up on me when I brought it up today.
You ask a lot. I can't condemn someone I don't know for not doing me a favor. I can give accolades to the guy that does at a huge risk to himself and their freedom/finances.I think that on the 8th someone should gather this info into an official list of who stood up and who did not.
Because any company that won't stand up for freedom, even at some level of risk, isn't a company I want to deal with. I want thoughtful, but courageous leaders in my state's 2A community, not just a bunch of FFLs who place profit over principle.
But maybe that's just me.
Agreed. You ask a lot. I can't condemn someone I don't know for not doing me a favor. I can give accolades to the guy that does at a huge risk to himself and their freedom/finances.
I drove past there two days ago. No line, no customers that I could see.Any body check with The Gun Room yet?
