Wilderness Tactical instructors belt 5 stitch, Kahr PM9 with Night sights (in pocket holster not pictured), Zero Tolerance ZT350, ,pen, sharpie, and dri-erase, gum, wallet, keys, Eagletac P20C2 Mark II 550 lumen flashlight, Samsung Galaxy Note, earplugs, floss, and spare batteries for my light. All of this goes in my TruSpec 24/7 cargo shorts. Almost 4 pounds of stuff.

EDC threads are fun. Here's what I have on body:



- wallet
- Johnson Creek Gun Club key card
- keys
- Coleman High Power Aluminum LED flashlight (cheap, great splash, decent throw, nice hot spot)
- Leatherman Juice S2 multitool
- Al Mar Payara (folding knife)
- Glock 19 (Gen 4)

Not pictured:
- Victorinox watch (forgot to take it off for pic)
- iPhone 4 (used to take pic)
- spare mag in pouch (forgot to take off for pic)


Off body:
- two first aid kits in the car (trunk, driver side door panel)
- change of clothes + boots in car
- a few food items & water bottle in car
- blanket in car
- spare batteries in car (trunk & door panel)
- second flashlight in car. Low output, heavy splash, low throw. Good tasking light with very long battery life.

Sharpies are awesome. I carry two in my EDC/get home bag. They are useful any time you need high visibility marking. highlighters are also handy.

I really want to get a Fisher "Bullet"-- the NASA pen. That way, if the SHTF while I'm in a swimming pool in zero gravity, I can still write on grease marred surfaces!

I'll play...

During the summer it's almost always this:



- LCR .38 in either a Desantis pocket holster or a Garret Industries Silent Thunder IWB
- a couple extra speed strips
- Protech TR-3
- wallet
- keys
- and the iPhone that took the picture

Sometimes I'll switch out the LCR for my Kahr PM40 in a Desantis Super tuck along with a spare mag.



And during the winter when I'm dressed heavier it's generally my XD40 subcompact in an Alessi Talon IWB and a spare mag.
