bought this as part of a package deal, already have a NH carry model so will let this one go.

I am not the original owner at least the 2nd and probably the 3rd, that shouldnt really matter because Ed Brown guarantee's there pistols for life no matter who owns it.

Person i bought it from claimed 200 rounds down the pipe, looking at the wear on the ejection port i would venture to guess its probably higher then that, maybe 1000 or so. It has been carried so it does so a very small amount of holster wear in the usual spots, I did my best to picture it.

Comes with whats show- Gun, 1 extra 7rd eb brown mag (2 in total) and original range bag.

retails for $3295 and a 6-12 month wait. Selling this one for $2700 you can send it into Ed Brown to have it refinished for $200-$300 if the small amount of holster wear bothers you.

Would consider trading for a railed 1911 (NH, Wilson or Brown) or a 500/460 SW + Cash

Had a KC in the 4 digit serial range. Sent it back to them, and ended up having many conversations with John May about repairs, most of which were peppered with phrases like "well, that gun is old", "metallurgy back then was not what it is today", "our standards for steel are different today", etc, etc. When was the KC introduced? Early 2000s? Still, I understand his points, and on a longer timeline I might see them as valid, but on such a short timeline (for me, 11 years with below average use) this then begs a whole bunch of questions about what "standing behind their product" actually means, what a "lifetime" of a EB gun is, and thus what a "lifetime warranty" means, and it seems like, at best, they will only stand behind their products by the standards present at the time of that product's production. Which if you think about it, that means if your firearm fails or precipitously deteriorates because of inferior materials, thats just too bad for you.

So no shade here, they are by far my favorite 1911 design, but heads up.
