Too good to be true? You Get what you pay for? Let us know how
it works. I have seen a lot of "Magpul" cheap copies for sale on ebay.
As far as value for cost, I think they are great. You ain't building a Badger Ordnance AR with it, nor are you crapping out gold bars to pay for it.
I bought a $50 15" MLok for a budget build (total cost ~$300). It's light, rigid, works great, but I haven't tested it as far as action abuse (dropping, using it to break my fall, etc.) It's sister AR is built using PRI and Geissle components, and is notably heavier.
The one thing I didn't care for was that it was ~1/32nd inch below the upper receiver rail. Just raised the front sight post and it was GTG.

[edit to add] I wouldn't dare buy a "cheap" magpul copy. They are cheap enough - why mess with something that works. Build an expensive AR and use cheap mags just turns it into a jammomatic POS.
