I urge you to OPPOSE ESSB 6288, creating the Office of Firearm Violence Prevention.
This bill ONLY ADDRESSES 134 deaths after you subtract UW's suicide estimates. While these are tragic, how many MORE lives could you SAVE if you invested in the Coronavirus epidemic? How about conditions that claim FAR MORE LIVES than firearms?
28x MORE people died from Alzheimer's disease than firearms
22x MORE people died from chronic lower respiratory diseases
22x MORE people died from cerebrovascular diseases
13x MORE people died from diabetes
This bill will do NOTHING to reduce the 44,572 violent crimes Washingtonians experienced in 2018. It is NOTHING MORE than a mechanism to circumvent the will of your constituents and disarm the elderly, poor, women, LGBTQ, and other disadvantaged groups who deserve the right to defend their lives.

If you do not vote NO on ESSB 6288, I will personally do EVERYTHING I CAN to help any campaign running against you later this year, including contributing funds and getting out the vote in your district.

Greetings,
I see on 3/5 it appears that something along the lines of an amendment ruled beyond the scope and rules were suspended to get the reading accomplished.

It appears folks can still comment on this bill:

Also, NRA EZ Link:

Keep at it. Git 'er done!
