Up for sale is a rare upper because it is referred to as a moon rock by some collectors. Possibly a Norinco M16 style upper. It is cast. Looks to be copied off of a early Forward Assist with square forge in front of dust cover. I am baffled because it looks even older than the less heard of Qm311 series by Norinco. I bought it as a whole upper with Original parts, so my next theoretical guess is that it could have been reverse engineered wartime? And captured parts put on it. Because the barrel and bcg that came with is 64 dated. It also came with original triangle Harding handle. At any rate I am not into guessing and really want to keep barrel, bcg and ch for project.price $350. One of these sold for $350 on gunbroker last week. Pretty cool history.
