Washington EAOTD #5: BOMBARD L&J Committee Dems TODAY!

From the Washington Civil Rights Association:

We need EVERYONE to BOMBARD the (D) Senate Law & Justice Committee members with emails!

The Law & Justice Committee will vote on these two huge bills on Thursday, 1/27. We have to stop this in committee!

And, the ONLY way we can do so is if EVERYONE emails or calls these legislators.

We received a brief reprieve as two of the three biggest bills of the session did not get passed out of committee on 1/20 as expected. That gives us more time to get EVERYONE on board in contacting them!

We need YOU to EMAIL AND/OR CALL the committee TODAY and ask them NOT to exec (advance) SB 5217 and SB 5568 out of committee.

SB 5217: Banning semi-auto rifles--including your 10/22!
SB 5568: An assault on state preemption, allowing ANY town to create ANY gun law they wish

If you emailed them last week, great, send another and then call them!

They care about money and reelection. They can't spend money if they don't get reelected! We HAVE to show them just how much we and others like us are willing to help their opponents if they vote to pass these bills!

THIS IS THE FIGHT FOR OUR LIVES. WE NEED EVERYONE TO TAKE A MOMENT RIGHT NOW AND DO THIS!

AND THEN: Can you share this with three other friends? We're seriously outnumbered and the ONLY way this works is if EVERYONE pitches in and contacts these legislators!

Also share it with everyone at your gun club and gun store!

If you want to share a note with them, tell them how these bills will adversely impact you and especially those in your community. Tell them how it'll make you a victim to the rising crime in your city. Tell them why you carry firearms in the era of defunding police. Tell them the story of the violent crime happening around you. If you're a member of a marginalized community, tell them about the unintended consequences on your communities

But remember, be polite. They don't care about the Constitution. They don't care about the mechanics of the bill—most points in the bill are either intentional or copied from other states.

Exactly why the creators produced this procedure. It is so easy a caveman can do it, I'M PROOF.
I for one think that most gun owners/hunters just want to be left alone (or vote for this) thinking their vote or advocating does not help so why get involved, we got the guns…
